| 무주산골영화제 폐막 4박5일 간의 행복한 영화소풍 |

제2회 무주산골영화제가 지난 30일 4박 5일 간의 영화소풍을 끝냈다. 무주예체문화관 2층 산골영화관 반디관에서 개최된 이날 폐막식에는 홍낙표 조직위원장, 김건 집행위원장을 비롯한 관계자들과 산골친구들그리고 일반 관람객 등 1백 여 명이 참석했다.
참석자들은 영화제 스케치 영상을 시청하고 전북영화비평포럼상과 건지상, 뉴비전상 심사위원들의 심사평을 듣는 시간을 가졌으며, 수상자 시상과 폐막작을 관람하며 영화소풍의 아쉬움을 달랬다.
홍낙표 조직위원장은 “전국 어디에도 없는 산골영화제를 개최한다는 자부심이 있었던 만큼 최선을 다했던 행사였다”며 “올해도 많이들 찾아주시고, 좋아해주시고, 감격해주시고, 기대와 격려를 아끼지 않아 너무 감사했다”고 밝혔다.
이어 “제2회 무주산골영화제를 통해 얻은 경험과 노하우를 가지고 해를 더하면서 더욱 빛이 나는 영화축제, 가고 싶어지는 영화소풍으로 만들어 나가겠다”고 덧붙였다.
한편, 제2회 무주산골영화제 전북영화비평포럼상(심사위원-영화평론가 신귀백, 전북청소년영화제 조직위원장 정낙성, 예원예술대학교 부교수 김영숙)에는 정윤석 감독의 ‘논픽션 다이어리’가, 건지상(심사위원-나우필름 ․ 파인하우스 대표 이준동, 영화감독 변영주, 부산국제단편영화제 수석프로그래머 홍영주)에는 김경묵 감독의 ‘이것이 우리의 끝이다’가 선정돼 눈길을 끌었으며, 제2회 무주산골영화제 한국영화경쟁부문 ‘창’섹션에서 상영된 9편의 영화 중 최우수 작품에 수여하는 뉴 비전상(르노삼성자동차 후원)에는 박찬경 감독의 ‘만신’이 선정돼 상금 1천만 원과 르노삼성자동차의 SM3 Neo를 부상으로 받았다.
전북영화비평포럼상에는 상금 1백만 원이, 건지상(전북대학교 후원)에는 5백만 원이 각각 수여됐으며, 뉴 비전상 수상작은 제2회 무주산골영화제의 폐막작이 돼 다시 한 번 관객들과 만났다.
뉴 비전상은 ‘창’섹션(2013년 8월 1일 이후 제작 완료됐거나 국내외 영화제에서 첫 공개 또는 극장에서 개봉한 한국영화-‘만찬’,‘이것이 우리의 끝이다’, ‘새출발’, ‘한공주’, ‘리뎀션 송’, ‘만신’, ‘논픽션 다이어리’, ‘레드 툼’, ‘우리별 일호와 얼룩소’)에서 상영됐던 영화 9편 중 한국영화의 미학적 지평을 넓히고 새로운 시선과 도전방식으로 영화적 비전을 보여준 영화에 수여됐다.
전북영화비평포럼상은 한국영화경쟁부문인 전북영화비평 포럼 회원들이 엄정한 심사를 통해 선정한 최우수 영화에 수여됐으며, 건지상은 감독 자신만의 확고한 영화언어를 통해 한국영화의 지평을 확장하고 새로운 가능성을 보여준 영화를 선정했다.
심사위원들은 “국내외 어느 영화제보다도 내실있었던 축제였고 훌륭한 작품들을 볼 수 있었던 기회였다”며 “산골영화제 개최 취지와 특징과도 잘 어우러지면서 한국영화 발전에 기반이 될 만한 가능성 있는 작품들을 선정하는데 주력했다”고 전했다.
제2회 무주산골영화제는 지난 6월 26일부터 30일까지 무주예체문화관(대공연장, 산골영화관)을 비롯한 등나무운동장과 부남면 생활체육공원, 무풍 ․ 설천 ․ 안성 ․ 부남면주민자치센터 일원에서 개최됐으며, 총 51편의 영화와 함께 ‘요조 & 이영훈’, ‘스타피쉬’, ‘넘버원 코리안’, ‘타카피’, ‘이상한 계절’, ‘화요일 11시’, ‘전북도립국악원’, ‘휴먼스’, ‘위아더나잇’, ‘민채 & 이동섭’, ‘크림’, ‘가요베스트’ 등이 펼치는 다양한 장르의 음악 공연들이 펼쳐져 큰 호응을 얻었다.
관람객 심 모 씨(40세, 서울)는 “여러 영화제들을 가봤지만 산골영화제만의 색깔로 확실히 차별화되는 것 같다”며 “영화제의 배경이 되는 무주의 자연이 너무 깨끗하고 아름다웠고 평소 영화관에서는 접하기 힘들었던 좋은 작품들, 감독 · 배우들과 만나 영화에 대한 깊이 있는 이야기를 나눌 수 있었다는 게 일상에서도 큰 에너지가 될 것 같다”고 전했다. // |
